Explore Hillel at Gallaudet University
Gallaudet Hillel serves as a welcoming haven on campus for Jewish Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, and Hearing students to openly explore and express their Jewish identity without communication obstacles. In collaboration with Gallaudet's Office of Campus Ministries, Hillel at Gallaudet enriches the lives of Jewish students by facilitating the celebration of Jewish religious and cultural practices both on campus and within the broader Metro Washington Jewish community. Students engage with Jewish culture through a variety of activities, including Israeli movie nights, lively Israeli dancing, insightful guest lectures, and visits to local Jewish community events.
